    dear ajarn soraj,

    i agree with you whole-heartedly. why can’t we make buddhist music that’s soothing and nice to the ears? the time has arrived for a modern and sophisticated buddhism. As the 17th Karmapa recently said of his mission in this life time was to “upgrade” and “modernise” buddhism.
